Chemistry and physiology
Biochemistry. One of the best and least expensive
books on biochemistry. Level of medical student or equivalent. Dense but
readable. A useful reference for anybody doing research or writing on these
topics
Children
Inflammatory Bowel Disease
IBD CD. Not recommended. We did not find it useful.
The information is limited. More information is freely available on the
internet.
Medicine
The Merck Manual. A comprehensive and inexpensive
book on medicine. They have editions in several languages, and professional and
consumer versions. It is worth the little money it costs. Available (free?) at
a web site.
